Do your beagles like cats? I have a calico named figaro; he's met dogs, but doesn't know they are mortal enemies--and the ones he's met, didn't either.

As you may notice, I am NOT up on Gather's social networking features. I'll get used to it. In the forum I mostly frequent--a gunny forum, TheHighRoad.org, we just have PMs, and I prefer to e-mail anyway.

About guns--yes, I knew you would be; I've snooped enough to have read about fainting, somewhere--your blog? At any rate--this is a safe way to get to know a gunnie; I'm 1200 miles / whatever away.

Only other gunny comments for now are that 1) the revolver pictured is my daily carry gun--a Smith & Wesson M&P 340--and 2) the Virginia Tech mess got me motivated to get my carry permit.

I may be gone for awhile--have to go to the range to practice some, and maybe mow the lawn. Figaro is an indoor cat; he doesn't require walks.
